Telefilm Canada is currently accepting accreditation applications by Canadian companies for the 2010 Marché du Film at Cannes, taking place May 12-21, 2010.

Telefilm Canada, with its partners and sponsor, offers an array of services and special discount rates under the Canada Pavilion umbrella. Located at the heart of the Cannes Festival, the Canada Pavilion at the Marché du Film provides meeting areas and a program of events designed with the needs of Canadian professionals in mind.

Launched in 2004, the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) celebrates the excellence in Arab and international cinema. The Festival’s motto – Bridging Cultures. Meeting Minds attests to a commitment in promoting cultural harmony and in building an international cultural bridge linking the East with European and Western Worlds as well as the Islamic and non-Islamic communities. In 2007, the DIFF launched a co-production market – the Dubai Film Connection (DFC) as part of its ongoing commitment to filmmakers of Arab nationality or Arab origin. Building on his success, DFC will present 15 feature and documentary projects from Arab filmmakers from around the world to international industry professionals. The combined value of the DFC awards now stands at more than $100,000 US.

NSI Online Film Fest seeks new films - Deadline August 17, 2009

The NSI Online Short Film Festival is a year-round 100% Canadian short film showcase with new films and filmmaker interviews uploaded every week. All NSI website content can be accessed for free. Our latest short film program includes 28 new films.

The National Screen Institute is now accepting films for its NSI Online Short Film Festival. Submit films for free by Monday, August 17, 2009. Films must be no longer than 30 minutes. Drama, comedy, animation, short documentary and experimental films are all eligible and must be Canadian.
